Blackwater Xtract

River Revolution Blackwater eXtract + is a solution that contains organic fulvic and humic acids. When added to water, it helps to reduce the concentration of calcium, magnesium, sodium, and other cation elements in the water column. This creates a natural blackwater environment that is ideal for fish and plant species that thrive in softwater environments. Additionally, it helps to reduce the pH of the water, making it more suitable for these species. Blackwater Xtract + has antifungal, parasitic, and bacterial properties that make it an effective medicine for fish. It contains potassium thiosulphate to remove chlorine and chloramines from the water and supply the aquatic plants with potassium essential for plant health and growth. It also enhances fish health and colouration and encourages natural breeding behaviour by providing the optimum environment. Blackwater Xtract + is safe to use with shrimp. Shrimp can be sensitive to pH changes, so a slow acclimation is recommended.

Instructions:
Add 1 capful (10ml) for every 100 litres of the aquarium’s total water volume.
Inhabitant-free aquariums: Blackwater Xtraxt can be added straight away to recommended levels. Before adding fish or other inhabitants, test water parameters (e.g., pH, calcium) and acclimate inhabitants before adding them to the aquarium.
