River Revolution Bio Media is a highly porous and light media with lots of surface area that nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria can colonize well within the media pores. Bio Media is a proven method to stabilise nutrients and boost the biology of your aquarium.

Instruction: 250ml of BioActive Media is recommended for every 100L of the aquariums total water volume. Extra BioActive Media can be added to a media reactor or mesh bag as it will not have any adverse effects and help assist with the stability and biology of your aquarium.

Maintenance: BioActive Media does not need to be replaced. However, the detritus can build up around the media and other organics, remove BioActive Media and wash with RODI water than soak in Pro-bio Blast for 6 – 24 hours before adding back into the aquarium or reactor. Bio Media is a proven media to stabilise nutrients and boost biology in your aquarium.
